The solar system's boundary ends at the Oort Cloud, a hypothetical spherical cloud of icy bodies surrounding the system, marking the limit of the Sun’s gravitational influence. This region, believed to be 2,000 to 100,000 astronomical units (AU) from the Sun, is influenced by the Milky Way's tidal forces and passing stars. Due to its vast distance, no Oort Cloud object has been observed.
