The timing here is striking.
Israel signed a $4 million contract with a company called “Show Faith by Works” just three days before Charlie’s memorial service. This company runs what they describe as the “largest Christian Church Geofencing Campaign in U.S. history.”
What does that mean in practice? They used geofencing (likely Ad-ID) technology at the memorial to collect location data from over 277,000 people who came to pay their respects. That data was then provided to the Israeli government for use in influence operations and propaganda campaigns.
Think about what actually happened: A foreign government paid to digitally track hundreds of thousands of Christians attending a memorial service, then used that information for psychological operations.
The contract timing, finalized just days before the event, raises obvious questions about whether this memorial was specifically targeted for data collection.
