the reason a lot of Twitter alternatives popped up at one point was because Twitter narrowed discussion to a range smaller than what Overton window was at the time - but now that Twitter has expanded to range of allowable content to match the Overton window nobody is interested in alternative platforms

you now have X for right-wing opinions such as \"Trannies Bad\" and you have all sorts of Left-Wing platforms like Reddit to promote every sort of sexual degeneracy.

what is the opinion that can be expressed on NOSTR that cannot be expressed on an existing large platform ?

i doubt anybody except me has said anything of the sort on NOSTR in its entire history

but this is now, and the situation can change at any moment - just look at what they're doing to Tik Tok.
