Had a realisation. I was wondering why all countries are pushing for digital
IDs and CBDC/stable coins so hard. Right now we live in a physical world where you live and work in the physical world interacting with physical beings and make physical money but we are transitioning into cyberspace where your work, social interactions, shopping and your money will live. Ie “ready player one”. Governments see this coming and want to be ahead of the curve so they can identify you and control your money in this cyber world as they do in the physical one.
