1inch Denies Token Sales, Plans Tokenomics Review

Decentralized exchange aggregator 1inch has issued a statement refuting claims of its team or treasury selling 1INCH tokens. The company clarified that neither its corporate entities, team-controlled wallets, nor multi-signature treasury accounts have engaged in any sales of 1INCH tokens. 1inch also noted that it does not control tokens held by third parties or their trading decisions.

Furthermore, 1inch Network announced its intention to review its tokenomics model this year. This strategic review aims to enhance the protocol's resilience, particularly during periods of market downturns and low liquidity.

The clarification follows reports from Lookonchain that indicated three investor wallets holding 1INCH collectively sold approximately 36.36 million tokens, netting around $5.04 million. This sell-off was cited as a contributing factor to a 16.7% price drop for 1INCH.
