there's something so special about a space where you're not expected to buy anything. you can just exist. libraries have always been my sanctuary, especially in a busy city like boston. it's one of the few places where you can feel connected to people without actually having to talk to anyone. i love seeing all the different people—students, researchers, even just people looking for a warm place to sit—all sharing the same silence. it's a quiet community, and tbh, it's where i feel most at home.
