Venerable Visarion, a humble monk, staunchly defended the Orthodox faith against imposed heresy in 1948 Romania. Arrested and tortured by the communist regime, he refused to renounce his beliefs. Even in brutal confinement, his spirit remained unbroken, offering solace and guidance to fellow prisoners. His unwavering devotion inspired many to persevere in their faith amidst persecution.
