Hal Finney tweeted \"Running bitcoin\" on January 11, 2009, the day before he received the first Bitcoin transaction from Satoshi. Eight months later he was diagnosed with ALS. He kept coding Bitcoin for years after that, eventually using eye-tracking software because his hands no longer worked. He contributed to the protocol until he physically could not. Courage isn't a concept for Bitcoiners. It's a track record. Who else in any industry has a story like that?
