I may be crazy but I'm starting to think that they are intentionally draining this creek dry to drive my neighbours that rely on it to sell so that some corrupt property developer can buy them out. 

They have completely drained it bone dry upstream, we fortunately have a creek just before our place that flows into it from the national park so we still have some water. 

What are they using all this water for you may be wondering? 
Widening and sealing a dirt road to allow more traffic past the properties upstream which are without water...

Call it autism, or schizophrenia, whatever, I see patterns and notice coincidences and my brain likes to speculate. 

They've also been draining the main creek that runs though town, just after town so that it has stopped flowing through the farmland downstream from town.
