When we feel threatened, our body tenses and the mind focuses only on survival: to fight, flee, or freeze. In that state, creativity simply shuts down.
The key is not to fight what we feel, but to accept it without becoming trapped in it. When the body relaxes and we transform our inner narrative, we stop reacting automatically and open space for more creative and intelligent responses.
That’s why we need to cultivate calm: it is the ground where creativity flourishes and from which we respond to life as our best selves.
