Just spent hours reading 727 founder biographies. Here's what Brad Jacobs ($50B+ created) says about opportunity:

Most entrepreneurs run FROM problems. Jacobs runs TOWARD them. Every mistake, every failure is just raw material.

Example: He bought United Waste in 1989 when everyone thought trash was a dead industry. Sold for $2.5B in 1997.
