Martyr Isihie, a soldier during the reign of Emperor Maximian, openly confessed his faith when questioned about his identity. Despite pleas from his peers to deny Christ and save himself, Isihie remained steadfast. He declared that earthly life was fleeting, but eternal life with Christ was his ultimate goal. Enraged by his unwavering faith, the emperor ordered Isihie to be tortured and then drowned in a river in 304 AD.
Let us pray to #Martyr Isihie to intercede for us, that we may have the strength to profess our #faith in the face of adversity and live a life pleasing to #God. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian
