📖 Definition: Orthogonal Complement
The orthogonal complement $V^\\\\perp$ of subspace $V$ is the set of all vectors orthogonal to every vector in $V$: $V^\\\\perp = \\\\{\\\\mathbf{w} : \\\\mathbf{w} \\\\cdot \\\\mathbf{v} = 0 \\\\text{ for all } \\\\mathbf{v} \\\\in V\\\\}$.
