Iran Claims Capture of U.S. Soldiers, Pentagon Denies

Tehran, Iran – Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Ali Larijani, stated on March 7th that several U.S. military personnel have been captured. Larijani posted on social media, \"According to reports I have received, several American soldiers have been taken prisoner. However, the Americans claim they were killed in action. Despite their efforts to conceal it, the truth will not remain hidden forever.\"

In response, U.S. Central Command spokesperson Tim Hawkins told American media on the same day that the claim of U.S. soldiers being captured is a \"lie\" by Iran.
