I’m waiting for blossom servers to publish indexes, and for them to have a lightning invoice payment mechanism for serving

If we built this, users could simply post a blob hash with their post. Then the viewer of a post could query for notes of which blossom servers host that file, and at what price. Then the client could serve the viewer the cheapest option encrypted, to be decrypted when payment settles.

This would create an economic incentive to mirror blobs, and would allow Nostr posts to be evergreen as they would be server independent

This would create a resilient backend, faster than torrents and monetized by default, while making the UX dead simple.

That is the truly uncensorable media we should be striving for with Nostr, IMO
