My final thoughts on the core vs. knots debate are as follows:

The core side is right: there is no way to stop additional data on the chain. But as Szabo mentioned, without spam filters, node runners are not protected, which I think has implications for decentralization.

So, personally, my recommendation is to NOT run core v30.
