“Dear Sancho: I sadly see how the palaces are occupied by fools and the huts by wise men. I was never a defender of kings, but worse are those who deceive the people with tricks and lies, promising what they know they’ll never deliver. Such is this country, my dear Sancho, that dethrones kings and crowns pirates, thinking that the gold of the king will be distributed among the people, not knowing that pirates only share among pirates.”
