Starting in 1851 they had huge Expos and Worlds Fairs all over the world as an excuse to reveal the ancient capitals only to destroy them after the fairs end claiming they were temporarily built for the fair / expo. I grew up 5 blocks from the site of the 1904 world’s fair. It’s heart breaking. The only things left of the ancient Tartarian capitol is the art museum, the giant bird cage at the zoo and a few small pillars woven into the fence that surrounds the zoo. Several buildings on the campus of Washington University and a huge canal system throughout Forrest Park. There are three golf courses which they used to bury the rubble.
