Now and then, I get a book idea of which I believe I can and will rapidly complete a first draft; unlike other ideas, which will take years.

Then I start writing, and the book grows in scope and structure, soon becoming unmanageable.

Well, today I decided to cheat by writing one of those books that's just a list. You know, those books with titles like \"I Saw a Purple Cow, and 100 Other Recipes for Learning\"

My book isn't about words that have fallen out of popularity. Not sure if I should spoil the title or contents yet, but the topic range is a messy hodgepodge of things. Nonetheless, I started writing today, and found the finish line getting closer, not further away.
